What DPOLens keeps about you, why, and for how long.
Updated 21 October 2026
1Who we are
DPOLens is run by Alkhatib Adam. Write to hello@dpolens.com about anything on this page.
2This website
No cookies, and nothing stored in your browser. Our network provider delivers the pages and protects the site from abuse, which means processing your IP address and your browser's details. It also counts visits for us, without cookies: we see which pages were read, which sites sent their readers, and from which countries and kinds of device, never who read them. We count visits to learn which pages help, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3The community version
When your AI assistant calls https://mcp.dpolens.com:
- Your question is kept for 30 days, then deleted. Before it is kept, email addresses, phone numbers, payment card numbers, IBANs and Emirates ID numbers are replaced with placeholders. Names and other details are not, so leave personal data out of your questions.
- The clauses each question returned are kept with it, with the time it was asked.
- Who asked is never recorded. Every question is asked as one shared account, with no sign-in.
- Your IP address is used only to apply the limits. It stays in the server's memory, is never written down, and is forgotten when the server restarts or needs the room.
We keep questions to run the service, to keep it working and safe, and to learn what people ask, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4The Cloud waitlist
If you join, we keep your email address, your answer to “What would you use it for?”, and when you joined. We use them to tell you when DPOLens Cloud opens and to decide whether to build it, and nothing else. We keep them until Cloud opens or we decide not to build it, and delete them sooner if you ask. When you start filling in the form, a check that you are not a bot runs in your browser. This rests on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to hello@dpolens.com.
5Email
Mail to hello@ or security@dpolens.com is forwarded to our mailbox, and kept as long as the conversation needs it.
6Who else handles it
Our network provider (this website and its visit counts, connections to the community version, the Cloud waitlist and its bot check, and email forwarding) and our hosting provider (the community version's server). Both act on our instructions. Our network provider may process data outside the EU, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU's standard contractual clauses.
7Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, and to take a copy with you. A question on the community version cannot be traced to whoever asked it, so we usually cannot find yours (Article 11 GDPR). You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the one in the EU country where you live or work.
8Changes
When this page changes, the date above changes with it. Every earlier version is in the site's public repository, alkhatibdev/dpolens.com.
